Powerful cutters can shred through credit cards, unopened junk mail or up to 12 individual sheets at a time. There is no need to remove paper clips or staples. A separate slot is included for convenient shredding of DVDs and CDs. Shredding these items through this secondary opening saves the main cutters from excessive wear and tear. The 5-gallon pull-out waste bin can be emptied without moving the shredder. Plastic shredder bags (sold separately) can be used to line the bin and keep your workspace neat.
