The Swingline EX12-05 shredder is ideal for shredding confidential documents that contain social security numbers, bank numbers and strategic information.
The super cross-cut shred style (Level P-4) provides everyday security that is able to protect you against identity theft. For example, one letter-size sheet of paper is shredded into 431 pieces. Powerful cutters can shred through credit cards, unopened junk mail or up to 12 individual sheets at a time. There is no need to remove paper clips or staples. A separate slot is included for convenient shredding of DVDs and CDs. Shredding these items through this secondary opening saves the main cutters from excessive wear and tear. The 5-gallon pull-out waste bin can be emptied without moving the shredder. Plastic shredder bags (sold separately) can be used to line the bin and keep your workspace neat.

Q1: The cross-cut shredder is stuck. What should i do?
A1: Generally, you can pull the paper up while pressing the "REV" button. If the paper jam is serious, you can press the "FWD" and "REV" keys several times to clean the cutter, and then use tweezers and other tools to pick out the jam.
Q2: Why are there paper scraps in the trash can and on the knives? Have I received a second-hand machine?
A2: In order to ensure that the paper shredders you receive are qualified, we will inspect each shredder before leaving the factory, so there may be some pieces of paper in the trash can.
Q3:Why doesn't it work after plugging in?
